Question Anyone with Edlebrock headers and..............

dont need to pass/worry about smog do you think you could help me out? I have Mac Headers (which are the same size of edlebrock) and need a Carb # to pass smog. I was wondering if you would sell/give me your Carb number if you arent using it. I would really appreciate it.

As long as the oxygen sensors all hook up and no codes are triggered you should be fine by just telling the guy that they are edelbrocks and you bought em used w/ no #. That is what I do w/ my pacesetters which are illegal in Ca. and i haven't had a problem in 2 tests.

I have edelbrocks, but what is a carb#? I know it has to do with emissions, but do you have to register your headers or something. I have emissions and I never was asked about a carb#. Is it just in cali?

i believe its a sticker that you have to put on your car so that the smog testers know that the headers are smog legal. cali is just really strick on smog so that is why i am looking for the sticker.

I think I got one of those actually. I would let you use mine, but can they run that # and tell if I had to use it too? I think I am going to put LT's on my car anyways and register it somewhere else so I dont have emissions.

All I found in my edelbrock stuff is a sticker that says:
Cat. Nos. in the following series 6500,660,6700,6800,6900.
Then it rattles of a bunch of code #'s or something. Is this what you would need? Otherwise I dont think I got one.
