anyone done a complete Autometer gauge cluster?
anyone done a complete Autometer gauge cluster?
My 93 is becoming more of a track car these days than a street car and some of the stock gauges and sending units are giving me trouble. I really don't know how accurate they are anymore.
I would like to replace the whole cluster with a custom Autometer set up. I know it's been discussed, but has anyone ever done this.... or will I have to set out on my own?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe he is talking about his whole dash cluster. Speedo, tach, etc.. I have never seen one, but that would be pretty cool. I have thought about it before, just didn't to spend the money on the gauges yet.
Autometer actually makes a complete dash cluster for the Mustangs. It's pretty sweet looking. I emailed them a while back about doing one for our cars, but they didn't have any interest.

You might want to scan you car first with AutoTap or similar before you go and do all that. I have it (and LT1 edit fwiw) and my stock gauges are DAMN close to what autotap reads directly from the PCM. Even my MPH/tach gauges are within a mph/rpmor so at all times. Good luck either way.
Also, I got pics of lots of AutoMeter guages in my car...but they are not to replace stock units.
