anyone deal with performance-curve?

Has anyone else ordered anything from Performance-Curve.com. I ordered a Magnaflow catback almost two weeks ago now and it has never showed up. I have tried to call them numerous times and always get a machine. I leave messages and emails but they never return. All I wanted was some tracking info or a person to say its on the way or on backorder or something. I think even after I get my order I don't think I will ever order from them again. THey may have the best price but thier customer service blows. Right now I have the feeling that I have been ripped. THis is the only company I have ordered from so far that I have felt this way. I don't mind the wait just want some reasurance that my order has been processed or something. Has anyone else delt with them and had experience like this.

Re: anyone deal with performance-curve?

I ordered a Magnaflow system from them about a year ago for my last bird and received it very quickly. I needed one for this bird and when I tried to contact Performance Curve, I couldn't get ahold of them. After 2 weeks of waiting, I ordered it from another vendor. I figure if I can't get a vendor to respond to my questions, I sure as hell am not going to give them my money...

I only go with web sites that I can call to confirm, have the item is in stock, and give out tracking numbers on shipments..... Some places dont carry inventories and are the middle man....

I like the way Summit Racing has their site, were you can see if the item is in stock.(ie: shipped date). I would like to see more sites do this......

Re: anyone deal with performance-curve?

If I don't recieve it by this coming friday I am going to order a hooker through someone else and file a claim with paypal. This is bs.

That company is probably just one person who's primary job is something completely different. Probably selling from his house. The website states they are a warehouse/wholesaler with 40 years experience. It's probably one person who worked at a warehouse then got fired for not doing his job and thought I'll make up a website then I can stay at home drinking all day while unsuspecting customers send me their money. I guess I will send that part when I get around to it.

I choose the the magnaflow over the hooker because its all stainless steel. I dont drive my car in the winter but I still wouldnt pay money for an non stainless system.

Re: anyone deal with performance-curve?

Here in Texas winter is not to bad. I was thinking about switching to hooker because I wasn't sure what the magnaflow would sound like with long tubes and no cat. I was thinking it might be to loud. My car has a dump welded in before the muffler(bought it that way). I got board yesterday and uncapped it. It sounded like a$$. I can't imagine anyone driving around this way. I don't want the magnaflow to sound anything like that.

Exactly. The Magnaflow is a great system, and at an awesome price. You couldn't pay me to run a non-stainless system.

Re: anyone deal with performance-curve?

I finnaly got ahold of someone. I had to just keep calling every couple of hours one day and someone finally picked up. I got a tracking number and should get the cat back today.
When I have it installed tommorow should I keep the cat or get rid of it? I have deleted the cat on most of my previous f-bodys but looking at the design of the magnaflow I'm not sure it if it would sound good or be too loud. Anyone run one catless
