Question

well, i just got done replacing my third opti of the year last week. so i've seriously been considering buying the LTCC conversion within the next couple of weeks. i'm just worrying about how much work is actually involved to mount the coil packs and splice in the harness.

Doesn't the LTCC setup still require the use of the opti?

EDIT: Nevermind, already found the answer.

yes you still need to use the opti for the purpose of getting a signal for the crank position. the LTCC eliminates running the high voltage through the opti which they claim kills them. plus the col pack setup is much stronger then the single coil setup we have on our cars. and at this point i'm getting sick of replacing an opti every six months so i want to try something different.

I am thinking about it... why do so many people have opti problems? I have 75k on my original stocker and it's running like a friggin bat outa hell. Vented maybe? Ehh, all I know is LTCC and Acceleronics box and big injectors are going to be purchased. Email some info with what you got.
