Anybody running 1.6 NSA rockers with guideplates under stock valve covers?

I am thinking about selling my LT4 SA rockers to upgrade to Promagnums NSA with 7/16 studs and guideplates but don't know if they will fit under my stock valvecovers. Anybody try this yet? LMK Later Clint.

Yes, you can do it (I'm doing it right now). The only thing you need to do to modify your stock valve covers is use a pair of needle nose pliers to flatten out the folds in the arches on the underside of the cover. Sounds a little confusing on paper, but just take a look under your covers and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

I have the stock VCs, I cut out the support and grinded on the other side. I dont recall which support I took out but one of them.
My GPs are stepped so I had to remove the support for them to work right.

It doesn't matter what guideplates you use as far as fitment goes....
IMHO The ONLY two to use are
GMPP or the ISKY's

I am running the Comp Pro Magnum rockers, 7/16 stud, and guideplates. No problems here. I am using Comp's guideplates.
