I ran a Procharger for about 3 years, 20,000 miles or so on a stock motor/transmission.

The best advice I ever heard was: If you can't afford to build it right, don't do it at all. Build the motor first, then the power adder.

Just throw that biotch on. Then if it goes out and you are tight on cash, get some 30 over pistons, do a little cleanup, and throw that biotch on again!!! Well it's not that simple but it's fun

My car is tuned with zero knock right now + alcohol injection which should help the motor last for a while. However, I plan on going 383. Best advice I can give you, make SURE you have a place for a rear end in your budget because once you start having serious power you NEED slicks to get any sort of power to the ground. That's no joke either.
