How much is to be gained with this intake over a ported LT4?

Pretty much depends on your head's. If your heads don't flow in the 350-360CFM range and you are not intending to make 700+FWHP N/A and turn it 7500+RPM's it's probably not going to do ya much good. The ports are too big. For the price ya could buy a complete LE3 and maybe cam.
What I am trying to say for a 400RWHP car it can be done without it and if ya have AFR or stock castings the ports are too big to match your heads.
The reason I got it was I couldn't afford to loose the 10-15% flow from the heads and still do what I wanted and bigger heads were out of the question. So it leaves my head flow pretty much where it needs to be without taking away from them.

Thanks LR

I have ported LT4's from Joe O and one of his solid roller cams. My heads don't flow that much. I'm wanting to make sure I get over 450rwhp. I would prefer 475rwhp

i'd drop squinn an email if you want try results about that intake. like mention above, unless your trying to run 8-9's on motor alone it's not hardly worth it.

LT4's can be made to flow 300+. and that's pretty good for a factory casting.
Ya can do your number with a Good LT4 ported intake pretty easy.
Yea I could have bought "half" of Steves complete engine he sold for what that intake cost.
