But back to one off intakes. In my case, high 11's with a stock low mileage short block and a puny cam will make me happy. After that maybe a little spray for low 11's. Once it pukes, who knows? Maybe I'll be looking for your guidance with a new short block, cam, and know how of what it takes to compliment a custom intake manifold.

I think you two guys are talking about two different intakes?
The stock one with the 'box" welded on the top I would think has stock runners, almost has to have.
Ours, not stock length runners or plenum volume.
