any1 no a good website for engine rebuild kits?
bottom end, and top end? basicly i want a complete engine rebuild kit, that is better than stock...by far, wanting all forged parts good rods, a STRONG bottom end etc. etc. if any one knows, let me know, i preciate it
thanks
thanks
But seriously...there's a lot out there. Nu-tek is another good one.
I'm having one of our board members build my 396. You just need to check what is out there...do a search on the board and see who has theirs done by who or who bought what parts and make an educated decision and what is best suited for you.
But remember, you get what you pay for especially for a stroker or a straight rebuild.

I love this forum!
what would i rather go with if i am goin to be supercharged? do i want to be bigger than 350? i want better 1/4 mile time, and i was goin to put the motor together myself just needed to get the rebuild kit/parts from some place the entire thing, thanks for the input
thanks
thanks
Other then those listed I'd say summit racing makes more "cheap" kits for less extreme applications. Beyond that, if you watch on ebay every now and then a killer deal comes along for parts, but then you have to have all the balance/machine work done and you're not always sure what you're getting.

I guess that would all depend on your goals and most importantly your budget.
combo motorsports has a killer GP going in the GP section for a perfect rotating assembly for you
a 383 will cost almost the same as a 350 anyway.
I personally think Combo is the best, especially when it comes to boost
they are some CRAZY boost happy snmabitches (24lbs daily driven with 1300hp
- something along those lines!)
Forced induction is really thier specialty
I'm sure they have have everything you need to build your motor.

There are alot more cost involved in a 383 over a 350. You can do a rebuild of a 350 relatively cheap.
There is a pretty good price difference depending on your setup. I agree that the people a CM are awesome.

If he wants to go with a forged 355 it will still be cheaper than a forged 383 because you can get away with putting a Forged GM crank ($450).
