Stock heads with 650 put in them would be the way to go. edelbrock heads numbers suck all around.

$650 ea.? What I am reading says $1100 ea. from that link above.
Thats over $400 a head JUST for porting. Correct me if I'm wrong but I suspect they are putting the original valves, springs, and studs back in since they state they start out with a new LT4 assembly and didn't specify otherwise.

I would feel like a tool spending $1200 for modified stock castings... the prices for head work are OUTRAGEOUS..... $1200, 95% of which is in labor... I can't see how that is justified since the CNC machines really do most of the work.

Not all porters use the CNC machine, I have ported several sets of heads and it took me a minimum of 18 hours to do 1 set. But 1200$ for porting alone would be too high.

The website it takes you to is for the stock LT4 heads from GM. I didnt see anywhere about the Edelbrock LT1 heads. I would think that the heads would be around the price the Vortec heads are.

Is 242 at .5 right on the intake? If so, for 170cc runner, that head has got more potention over a stock head and flows just about as well has some cheap or DIY ported jobs, or some GTP heads .

AS long as they arnt too over priced, like AFR, I wouldnt mind putting down the $ for them. Did they say anything about creating a 200cc runner? I thought I remember someone say they talked to them and said they were working on it.
