Any update on the Edelbrock intake?

Haven't heard anything new about it in a while. Last I heard, it was still in R&D.

Yeah I thought it was going to come out on the 17th. I was quite disappointed when I did not see it at summit.

There is an ad in the New GM High Tech this month. It is in the ad and it says coming soon. It does not have a date though.

I'm sure it will be like every other new intake coming out that I've been interested in; it will be delayed for 6+ months and become vaporware...

Edlebrock knows they HAVE to make this intake. With the discontinuation of the LT4 GM intake there is a huge market for any company willing to put one out. Have faith as Edlebrock will put out this intake.

edelbrock sucks... how long have they been working on this intake for an engine that's 13 years old?

Re: Any update on the Edelbrock intake?

Edelbrock announced an LT1 intake manifold in 1995. I saw one at the Edelbrock display at the vendor's midway at the 95 NHRA Nationals at Englishtown. It looked almost exactly like a stock LT1 intake. They never sold one, although they did include it in their catalog. Reports were that it made nothing extra in the way of HP (sort of like their LT1 heads ) 11 years and counting....
