Any tips on changeing the waterpump?

Any tips on changeing the waterpump?

It went out and i'm gonna switch it, anyone got any tips?

How long does it generally take to switch waterpump?

Removing the fans on the radiator make things a lot easier.

I recently did mine, I followed the chiltons manual directions step by step it was pretty straight forward. Yes you have to remove the fans, but thats no big deal.

I have done my waterpump/opti with the fans in.

If you leave teh fans in the thing is going to be a little trickly moving the waterpump just right to get it in and out, just be patient and move it slowly until you find the right angle. put something over the opti so it doesn't get coolant on it as well.
