Any problems with roller rockers and stock springs?

Well, I went against the advice from the guy at Crane and did not buy the spring kit with my Crane Gold 1.6 race rockers. I plan on putting them in this Friday.

I was wondering if any of you had problems using the stock springs.

Thanks, Mike.

Can't speak from experience, but some say the stock springs will coil bind with 1.6 rockers. Run a .030 feeler gauge between the coils when it is running to check for interference.

Thanks for the tip. I see a very messy engine bay in the future.

Anybody else?
