Any one with this same sound

After changing cams and throttle bodies my car sound like it has a turbo on it. It whistles really loud I've checked for vacum leaks and so on the TB is a BBK/edelbrok just wondering if this is a common thing or if there is some thing I'm missing. THANKS

My car also make a loud whistling sound like it has a turbo. My brother has a '97 Z28 and a friend of mine has a '97 SS .... neither of their cars makes the whistling sound.

I don't know where it comes from, but it's always been there?

Thomas.

BBK supposedly has that problem. Many people report that they get that whistling sound from their BBK TB. Seems kind of common.

my truck sounds like a serious vacuum cleaner at idle from all the air being sucked through the intake, but I haven't heard any whistling while driving, but I am also running shorty headers, high flow cat, and 2 chamber flowmaster.

Where are you getting the whistle at? WOT, off idle, cruising, etc..

I've heard people have had problems w/ the swirly bolt ons that go in the intake whistling real bad at wot, but nothing so far on the reg bbk. Mine has a slight manufacturing defect on the built in airfoil, like aluminum didn't reach the middle of the mold before it cooled down, I was going to send it back, but figure it can't hurt that bad. Do you see anything of this sort, or cast flash or anything that might be hanging in the way of the air flow causing the whistle?

hehehe, is this more to your liking?? and is this the whistling sound you heard? You really can't even hear the motor over the intake noise, but that's fine by me, till you get to the rear.
