Ground clearance is awesome, I mean we are dealing with 4th Gens and LT's.. LOL
So no complaints, they tucked up nicely and the guy that did my Y pipe did an awesome job...

#8 is easy to get from the bottom with the starter off... #2 is always a bitch!

So whats the final verdict on the headers... Did you feel a noticeable difference jason
I did when i first did my slp and borla.

did you need an 1 or 2 oxygen extensions?

Any tips for us on the install?

Im still in the middle of the bilstein and ls1 brake install... i was out there for an hour drilling away at the rusted bolt on my shock/spring assembly... its taking forever cutting that thing off. if i was doing the ls1 brake upgrade i'd have been done yesterday... your coming with us on Saturday to the SLP event right?

Hey Leon.

I finally got the #5 burnt wire fixed tonight and took her out for a test run and yes, I can notice a difference than before...

Install is pretty straight forward... Let me know when you do it and I'll give you a hand...
I only had to extend the passenger side, drivers side plugged right in.

I am going to the SLP event on the 29th, that's what you're referring too, right?
More than likely I won't drive though, probably riding with Dan in his SS.

What length of extension did you have to use on the passenger side?

Outkast can answer that.. He's the one that extended that one... Heh, how much wire did you use?

And hell yeah, very nice install.

By the time I got home from your house on Friday that fitting had completely come off... It was blowing exhaust right out it, looked cool in the dark, it was a blue flame...

Could you take a pic of the fitting that came off? Do you think it will be a problem with all Jet-hot's new LTs? I'm only asking cuz im waiting for mine to get here (should be today or tommorow) and I have the AIR and EGR fittings as well. How are you going to fix it? Maybe you should contact Jethot and see if you can get warrenty on it or something.

Doh, blue flame....still runnin rich huh. Any damage to the bottom of your hood?

Can't say that I measured those wires, just ran what I needed and snipped. Best guess would be about 2ft and I was left with plenty of slack to tie them up away from the pipes.

Did you get a chance to scan and read the O2 values to see if you're loosing any voltage?

No damage under the hood... The car is running richer...

We actually hooked it up to Bruces laptop on Saturday and the values were pretty good... Need to scan it again though to make sure everythings good.

I already talked to Chris at Jet-Hot and he told me to let him know what I do with it, he asked if I had fixed it and if I paid someone to fix it. He did say it wasn't fair and asked what they could do to help. So we'll see...

Here's a pic...

C'mon dude, leave it open and cut a hole in the hood to let it through. Ricers won't know what to do when they see the pretty blue light coming out of there....well, maybe not

The open fitting is probably causing that passenger side O2 to read lean. Did you get it capped off yet? Let me know if you want me to get ahold of Ross and we can get it reprogramed without all the EGR and AIR stuff. You'll just need to get the blockoff plates. Should only take a couple hours right...I'd say 1-2 but hey I'm not always so good at estimating time eh.

Sounds like Jet-Hot is treating you right. Always good to know a company that wants to make things right. I'd say we prolly did it during the install but it's hard to say.

So just don't overtighten the Air fittings when installing these? That sux to have something break after you get them installed.

WOW! It looks like the fitting jsut snapped off! At least Jet Hot is offering to help..which is cool.

So from the looks of it the total parts list needed is -

OTVC kit from Thunder Racing
8 NGK TR55 spark plugs
1 inch long Stage 8 bolts with tear drop clips
Felpro header gaskets
1 - 2 foot o2 extention
Roll of Heat tape
1 12x12 sheet of adhesive backed heat shielding
mufflex y-pipe or custom made y-pipe from your local muffler shop

so if I'm planning on running a y-pipe as far as O2 sesors go which do I need to get. Do I need to get the 12" extendors or the O2 simms?
