Steve,

I'll apologize for Larry's demeanor upfront. He's my son after all.

Nah, you have to take the 'dude with a grain of salt. He helps more than he hurts and yes, he already knows it all but hey... he's old. Who can hate an old guy with a AARP card, RSVP at the local Wyatt's cafeteria and a somewhat fast f-body?

BTW, the Rhoades roller lifters are new. I don't believe anyone here has direct experience with them???

Give them a try and see what you think or wait till someone else does to learn from their experiences.

I'm never the first one in the water at the beach. I stand around and see if anyone gets eaten by a shark for a while.

Mindgame, Yes the Hydraulic roller lifters from Rhoads are new, but the technology they used in there hydraulic lifters is the same used in there roller lifters. Thats what I was getting at, the technollogy was just implemented to a new design lifter.
I will look into a dyno test, car only as we dont have one that I know of here in Hawaii for motor only, of a before and after run. I currently have Comp Cams r's, and make 425rwhp. Hawaii temps, DA etc are pretty much the same daily so a hp gain/loss will be more attributed to the motor. I will have to wait till February as travel is happening a lot right now.
So, any tips on makeing the dyno more accurate to ensure that the lifters are being honestly tested, let me know. I will have wideband, TTS datamaster and will adjsut lifters according to manufacturer. The Comps dont have many miles on them and were adjsuted after initial heat up, and readjsuted to there manufacturers specs, and no clips are out, yet.
