Also wondering what this car might run with 3.73 gears and a 3000 stall converter. Trans also has shift kit. 26" tall Drag Radials. Stock weight.

 

I would say about 340 or so at the wheels, and if you can hook, then around 12.5 or so.

Thats about what I was running/putting to the ground when I had my stock heads ported and my CC306 cam with 3.73's. (I also had similar bolt ons.) Granted I am a 6-speed though.

 

Alot can hinge on how good the port work is on your heads.....who did the heads?....also, any flow numbers?..........if the heads are really top notch (Like Lloyds work)...and the tune is really good.....I'd say low 12's and mabe even some high 11's could be possible if you could get some 165ish 60 ft times......ofcourse, you would need a Top of the line 3000(or slightly higher) 2.45 or 2.5 STR stall, and the 3.73 gears......Joe

 

it wasnt a crazy amount of port work. If was done by D&F down here in South Jersey.

How bad would 4.11 gears be on the highway at like 65 or so????

I was thinking like mid 12's too, so I guess I wasnt too far off.

 

2500rpms is 66mph
3000rpms is 80mph
