Any good shops that know LT1's in CT?

I know of East Side Performance in Wallingford, but they say that they are mainly an LS1 shop. I'm in Sratford, and I despratley need a shop that knows LT1's asap.

TIA

Tell you what, when you find one, let me know. We can go together. I used to take my car to Voight, but that didnt work out. For the motor, sent it to NJ. And that was a joke. What are you interested in doing? Keep me posted, i would love to find someone reliable.... john

well, I'm basically fed up with trying to figure out whats wrong with my car. I have done everything and all of the work to my own car up until now. I need the car as a daily driver. So I need to find a shop that can troubleshoot my problem.

BTW, your car looks like a beast. I'd love to see it sometime. You are right near me in Bridgeport. I go to Sacred Heart U

Your best best but it will come at a price while alleviating headaches altogether would be Callaway Cars. They have indepth knowledge and expertise on LT(x) motors. Let me know what they say............

Give Callaway Cars a call. Their number is: 860-434-9002. You have 1 of the best and well established proprieters right there in your own backyard...they're located in Old Lyme. They know LT1s!

It sounds like a beast. Yeah, i live right in the treeland area. Callaway would be overkill, i think. We do have dan perkins in mlfd, and russell in ffld (dealerships). The trouble is, any mechanic worth his salt is being bombarded with moneymaking work, so its hard to get fit in anywhere. I think what you really need is a good friend with a little knowledge and a lot of tools!

Thx for the props on my car. I have put a lot of effort into this car. It still isnt quite done (i have been fixing what i asked JPR to do), but it is driveable. I would love to get up sometime. Do you bring the car anywhere like the canteen, berlin, bill's drive-in, etc? Let me know, and we can punk down all these pikers!

I have a snapon scanner i you need to check your car, anytime, just let me know. And thinking back, i found a shop in cromwell that did work on our cars. I forgot the name, but do a search. I never contacted them, went to NJ instead. Big mistake. Keep in touch, i would love to help in any way i can.

Definitely look up CROMWELL AUTOMOTIVE, talk to Rodney, they ROCK! They just did my LT4 top end conversion, friendly guys, top notch work, reasonable prices. Highly recommended! They have a webpage that tells you a lot, www.cromwellautomotive.com.

I live in Berlin, right next to Cromwell, I'll have to take a ride by the shop to see how good it is. I'll let people know how it it. Also Fast96WS6 my buddy goes to SHU as well so I'll probably be down there a few times this semester, I'd love to see your car looks real nice. Dynomight get your car done so you can head up to the pike so I can see that beast and watch you kill ricers and mustangs Def. let me know.

The car is driveable, work in progress. You tell me where to go, and i will (try to) be there. Mostly rice around here, hard to find an f-bod owner who knows the cars like we do. I am ready, let me know...

Fast96ws6, two can play that game, you have a pm

And by the way, cromwell looks like a great place to start, maybe thats the ticket...

the pike is fun...kinda died in past few weeks since hartford become the spot....mostly ricers there but hell a lot of them will take some v-8s....theres a few cars down there running 11's... thats where the races are...hartford gets a little crazy.... pike has way to much enforcement...mainly just a show place which is cool in itself
