Actually, Patman and I were at the track together today. In full road trim, full tank of gas, spare etc still in, a suspension much better suited to autoX and road course than Drag I got:

This is on regular street tires BFG KDW, no burnouts just pull past the water box spin to clean and go.

I am THRILLED, and I figure I could have got into the 12's with some good gummy tires.

I bet it was, but I used an American weather forecasting service to figure out that today was going to be fabulous for drag racing. Temps were around 60, and humidity was around 50%. Good horsepower weather! Ust like weather.com predicted.

 

You've definitely got me thinking about doing headers and a hot cam now Janny! Great times, your car simply flies! I hope someone lends you their drag radials for a few passes in the fall, if we get cool air again like today, and you can launch harder, you'll be well into the 12s without a doubt.

 

I figure the fall will be the best time to try this again, unless the summer turns out to be like our spring. I would like to trya run with drag radials sometime.
