Another question about doing !TB bypass

After looking at this site: http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/6647/ta93/tbody.htm and talking to a few people, I realize that I need some of this 'hard line' to put in between the two hoses. What is good for that? Should I go buy a piece of something? How big do I need it?

Any steel tubing will work. Go to NAPA or Autozone and get a piece of fuel line or something. Hope this helps, Prorac1

I used an 3/8 airhose repair connector.. It was about two inches long, but thats for an 93', because the hose that goes to the thottle body is part of the radiator hose....

But you can find a connector at a hardware store in the plumbing dept... cost around a dollar...

A 3/8" connector like in the picture on this link http://www.plumbingsupply.com/barb.html
You can get these at most auto parts stores, hardware stores (in the plumbing section, ect.

Or you could use the connector on the throttle body itself, to make this a truly *FREE* mod.

Just take the metal connector off your throttle body, and hose-clamp a line to each end.

why do you even need a adapter, all I did was remove the line from radiator to the tb and move it to the return line on the other side.

You don't need any added parts if you have a 1995 and up.

i think the 95s you can just use the one hose and connect it to the other end with out using that connector. essentially you can remove one of the hoses and just use the one to connect the two.
