Well it has been awhile since ive had to ask about my car unfortunately im having problems now. Today I had to have my car towed home. Alittle history behind whats been going on, For awhile now my idle has been erratic, Coming to a stop it would drop down to 500rpm then go back up fluctuating back and forth, I dont know if this has anything to do with my current problem but it could. Yesterday it wouldn't start, All the lights everything came on.. When I turned the the it all died and started clicking. Checked the wires and eventually got a jump. That night I went and bought a new battery, I dont know if the one I had was bad but it was old leaking. So fast forward this morning, My car ran fine to work now problems at all, Get off work and she just would not kick over. Tried with a jump and nothing. The engine will crank but just not get that last bit to turn on. The fuel pump is comming on, I know im getting fuel to the engine. I pulled and plag wire and tried to spark it to a screwdriver but got nothing. Maybe its the starter? or mayber the (opti). I havent had time to tap the starter or even check it out yet. So if anyone has had this problem let me know I got a new shiny quarter for you!

Start at the bottom (spark plug) and work upstream....

Go try Shoebox's Tech advice!

Keep at it,

If the engine is turning over then the starter is working. I would check the opti as well. Make sure the opti is getting voltage from the distributor ignition. If it is, and no spark to the plugs, look into that opti (or the plug wires)
