i have done searchs on this subject but i am still a little confused. i am having a problem and i think that it has something to do with the knock system. i have a 96 ta with a forged 355 with le2 heads and cam. and i have custom tuned computer that has the knock readings set at zero. but my timing is reading -20 to -25 degress at idle. and if i put the factory computer in it it shows about 15. why would a custom tuned computer show the value with a - and the factory tune not?

 

I don't know why you would see one with the "-" and one not, but all timing is advanced, so it is actually "-".
