Another Dead Opti???

Maybe I can answer.....
SO, removed and checked for a loose rotor in the new opti. Nope. Reinstalled and while I was getting ready to put the coil to opti (spark) wire on, I noticed that it was very very sqiggly. Too sqiggly. Almost like there is a break in it.
Tested for resistance. What should I get????? Zero to very low right??? \
Nothing....at all. 1 on the DVM and even running power through it....nothing.
End of story? New plug wires then???
