Another car wont start thread.
I know there is abunch of these threads about this, but most, doesnt seem to give me my answer. Plus there is several pages. So here goes.
94 z28, m6, 355, bolt-ons, 12-bolt, msd digital 6
Allright last w/e we was on our way back from the track, motor was running fine at the track, on spray i was having fuel issues so it leaned out a few passes. The starter died at the track no problem roll it off and keep trucking. On the way home running smooth all of a sudden it shuts down no sputtering no nothing, just quit. So we get to checking, the booster fuel pump wasnt working, changed the relay, got it workiong but nothing. So i get it home via trailor, change starter, so I can spin it by the switch. So since the other fuel pump died i thought it might have burnt the intank pump up. I had 42 PSI, so that was good. So i start checking for spark, I had spark at the opti end of the coil wire but no spark to the plugs. So i thought well opti no big deal. I bought the a new back part of the opti. Put the cap baxk on the new opti , put it together still no fire at the plugs. Started to get aggrivated, I tried taking the opti harness off my vert which i know is good, still nothing. Ive checked fuses, relays, and still nothing.
What do i need to try now? This is getting old. I thought i was pretty smart on these engines but now im just stumped. Any ideas?
