Unhappy Another 3.4/LT-1 swap--UPDATE

Hi, Sorry if I sounded a little pompus in my last post but it gets me when people pay high $$ for things they can get cheap if they just look around. Anyway, I was just looking around the site and when I looked at my LT-1 swap post it reminded me of the good old days. Check this--1 hour AFTER posting about the intended swap I went out to the garage to look things over and on the way back, (My garage is an old barn I've been converting to a shop. It is a couple of hundred yards from the house so I ride over on the 4-wheeler.) I rolled the 4-wheeler, broke my leg in two places, and I am just now starting to get to the point of doing stuff in the garage again. Oh Well, crap happens. One bright thing though, I haven't had anything to do so I have been busy on good ole E-Bay and now have every possible thing I could want to complete this project. (Except a good leg that is!) I spent just over $700 and got the following, Wings-West high-rise spoiler, complete factory ground effects, very slightly used set of Michelin Pilots (V-rated, I needed new tires anyway) a different set of wheels that I plan to use, SS hood (aftermarket), white-face gauges, CD changer (factory), and some odds-and-ends. Like I said, put your trust, (and $$) in E-Bay. You won't go wrong! P.S. Any thoughts about the 3.4 to LT-1 swap would be helpful. It SHOULD be pretty straight forward since I have the whole Z-28 that the LT-1 is coming from, but if anyone has expereince with doing this swap let me know.

Hi, I got the GFX for $150, and the spoiler for $120. You got to have patience though. Wait for the deals. I've seen stuff go on one auction at a high price, then another ends the next day for half as much. (It helps to use a "sniper" service too!!) And NEVER, NEVER, use "buy it now". If they have "buy it now" just e-mail them with an offer, you would be amazed how many people sell cheap if you make an offer to buy today instead of waiting.
