i know what my engine looks like on the outside but i dunno whats in it i could attempt it myself and be carless for 6 months or i could have this guy fix it and get a 383 stroker when i have more money. i think ill do the second

Theres nothing wrong with not knowing man and no one should give you sh*$ for it. Everyone has to start somewhere. Go ahead and get it fixed and in the future when you are older and have more time (when does that ever happen, hahaha) you can undertake some projects of your own.

Good luck, I hope she runs great for you. I just had headgaskets done and some other stuff and I am supposed to get it back, I'm so nervous about what they could have messed up. I have always been a do it myself kinda guy, but with college I just dont have the time (its my daily driver). I hate when other people work on my car, no one is ever as careful as you are, like did they get any fluid on the opti who knows....

yea im only a freshman in my second semester and im moving to austin next semester so i need a car for every day. i wont be speeding in austin for a while much less racing because i dont know the area. im glad this guy is going to replace with non-factory plastic or rubber piece of **** gaskets. ill build the engine later when i have a second car or career to finance it
