i have a 1994 z28 m6 with 89k on it. it is bone stock. i only get about 180 miles per tank city driving. and about 300 miles highway. i am at WOT at least once every tank. is this normal?

 

sounds OK to me I get much worse than that but I only do city mileage. Relax

 

sounds good to me as well, i get about 170 to 180 to a tank, not sure now after the headers but so far about the same.

 

Sounds kind of low to me. Before I put a new cam in I was getting around 260 miles/tank city mildly stock. Maybe you need a tune up.

 

Definately low, but not uncommon. There have been several threads on this, do a search.
Most get 15 to 17 mpg. around town. Your getting only about 12.5 to 13 mpg. I have the same problem. Mine was getting only 11 mpg. Have done plugs and wires, and had the PCM reflashed. I'm up to 12.5 mpg now. Will do O2 sensors next.

Lead foot doesn't help!

 

all highway I get about 300 but city I only get about 170-210 best but thas with mods

 

I get 10mpg on my 383... new opti, new wires etc... no diff..

 

yea ive been consistantly trying to get up to ur guys 15-17 that would be nice, anyhow i did air filter fuel filter plugs and im in the process of wires.
