Decided to go with Ram air so i am trying to sell a recently purchased SLP CAI...it is still in the box, I have only opened the box once to be honest. I paid $210 shipped from slp and am asking $170 shipped for it now.....is this too much? I wouldnt think so but some of the guys on here act like im crazy asking an outrageous price. Is it so outrageous for a new part to be 40 dollars cheaper than buying from slp? any help or opinions is appreciated.

 

The thing is that you can usually find at gp going with them selling at that price. $150 shipped would be more reasonable.

I know you said you are going Ram Air. You will see better performance gains by sticking with the SLP CAI then going with the Ram Air.

 

The thing about the used market is we're after a deal, to save money. Since anyone can get a used CAI for 100-120 shipped, even 150 is a hard sell. To the used buyer it doesn't matter if it's just out of the box, we don't care. Just want a CAI for the least ammount possible. But like they said, CAI=RAM so I'd just get the hood for the look and keep the CAI for the HP.

 

hmm good point.....if i cant sell for 170 shipped then i guess i will keep it and just buy the hood. thanks for the opinions guys.
