I am in the process of rebuilding my 1997 Camaro Z28. While mounting thje alternator there is a small bracket that I can't recall where the placement is.
Can someone post a piuc or link of where it neds to get mounted properly for the alternator suppot.
The ebay link shows that as a 1998-2002 part. I looked in the 1996 factory service manual, and at my Formula and it is not used with the LT1. It is shown for the LS1 engine starting in 1998, per the factory service manual.

A big thank you. Turns out it goes behind the A/C for support. Greatly appreciate the help! I have the book, but it falls short in some aspects. These PDF manuals will come in handy going forward. I have a 88 V6 firebird rebuild coming up.
