alt relocation that doesnt cost $200?

im getting rid of all pullies other than the alternator. i wanna put it on the lower passenger side, and ive seen one bracket that does this. each place that has it sells it for 199.99. its 2 peices of metal and a spacer and a bolt, theres no reason it should be above 50 dollars. just wondering if there is any place i can get one of these at a reasonable price?

thats getting better, but still no reason to cost 115, i may just have one made for 15 bucks by my local metal shop (owned by my uncle), **** i may just have 20 or so made, and sell them on here for a decent price, no reason at all to cost that much.

Good metal, quality bolts and bushings and you might be surprised what it costs to make them. Then I guess there is time spent designing them and measuring stuff.

i already talked to him. quailty is not a problem cause nothing leaves his shop with out bein absoultly perfect. if i brought him one like this he said about 15 a piece. i would happily sell them for 40-50 shipped just to help you guys out, and 10 of that would be shipping, id just have to know if theres any intrest in them.

You can not offer products for sale, or promote for-profit parts manufacture on this site, unless you are a Supporting Vendor.

The man is not a company... he is asking if there is a demand for them. Maybe once he is selling something, he would be required to be a vendor. As of now, he is just asking if there is demand for a product that would carry a price. He isn't promoting something he has for sale. Just trying to establish demand.

We request that you not argue in the thread with the Moderators, and to please take it to PM. Your interpretation of what he is doing is not the same as mine. We run into this situation frequently.

Didn't mean to seem argumentative. I was just helping to pose a second observation. Happy New Year!

So... he's going to provide a copy of someone else's bracket, all the bolts and spacers, and a new multi-rib belt for $15? Heck of a deal.
