Alright when my car is cold it fires right up then runs real strong but lets say i run it for awhile then turn it off then let sit for half an hour or so still pretty warm and i go to fire it up it has trouble starting and once started it has trouble staying started if i give it gas its like it does nothing today was the worst day it took me about 5 min to get it going but then once i have it going for awhile it runs fine. I replace the fuel filter today hoping it was something ez like that but it wasnt so what could it be o yeah the ses light came on for the first time today just for a brief period so if you have any ideas please help me i love this car and want to keep it running strong thanks

 

Well i guess ill explain what the car does a little its like its gagging and stuttering just thought you might need to know that please help

 

Sounds like you may have a problem with the long term fuel corrections, O2 sensors, etc. Since you had an SES light, get it scanned - the code will still be "stored" for a while. That way you won't have to guess what the problem is.

 

My car did something similar a while back, I found that the rubber elbow going into the throttle body was torn a little and everthing was fine after I messed with it, I didn't have the money to fix it right so I duct taped it till I fixed it right, she was my dailly driver at the time so i need it it fixed right then. Don't really know if this is similar to your problem but you never know till you check right?
