i wanna get headers for my car and i live in illinois so i have to pass emissions. i went to thunder racing.com and i saw there package for the AS&M headers which comes with all the installation stuff, plus a dual catted y pipe. this kit was kind of expensive but ive onyl heard good things about the AS&m headers and this is the exact setup i want. my question is that my car will be lowered, will there be any ground clearance issues with the y pipe and dual cats?? i dont want to spend all this money on it only to have em scrapin and bangin on bumps n ****. any info is appreciated. later.

 

i have the those headers and the random tech y-pipe, i've had no problems with ground clearance, but my car is not lowered. i don't think that they hung that low. i'd check but its all off for the winter while the tranny is out

 

I have not heard any complaints about ground clearance with the ASM headers (it is never really an issue with short/mid-length headers).
