All opinions, ideas, etc. welcome........
I have a 1994 LT1 and I'm not real sure how much life it has left so I am looking at what to do before it actually goes so I'll be ready. Idea 1: Rebuild LT1 with forged pistons, cam, port/polished heads, 1.6 or 1.7 RR, supercharger, all other parts necessary. Idea 2: Part the 94 out and buy a 2000-2002 WS6 Trans Am?
Re: All opinions, ideas, etc. welcome........
If you sell the 94 do you think you can get more for it as parts than you can as a complete running car? Do you plan on moding the newer vehicle if you get it? The 94 is easier to mod than the OBDII unless you swap it over. You could always do like I did, get another engine and take your time rebuilding it while you can still drive the car.

Concur with above.
you can pick up a used block and top end from a local junk yard...take it to the machine shop and have it prepared then start your build. at the same time, if you need to drive, you can.
I lucked out, just found out that I got a new job down town, so my car will be parked indefinatly, time for the major work to start
Good luck mate!

The reason I said part out the 94 is b/c I am going to keep it till it blows. I would do bolt ons, slight head work, cam, and headers (at some point in time) to the 00-02. But ya'll think its a better idea just to rebuild the LT1?
