Alright I know that my car is still nothing compared to you guys down in the 11's and 12's, but I just finished breaking my car in the 500 miles from the gear install, tranny cooler, pcmforless, Pi Vigilante 2800 and new brakes. I am so IMPRESED on how well it did when i actually floored it right now, on an empty 3 lane street outside the city by the way, the outskirts of the city. Here is my story...

Well since I had put over the 500 miles break in exatly as you all had suggested by not going over 45 mph and the circles thing and all that I had an open road in front of me and decided to let it rip for the first time. I had done a small power brake and when decided it was time to go I let is go slowly and could not grip as i normally could. I instantly felt the power throw me to the back of my seat and when it gripped, damn, I was flying and had chills going all through me as I could feel the power! As it shifted from 1 to second gear it musta chirped for at least a full second and then from 2 to 3rd it gave a little chirp. The power difference from my new modifications was unbelievable like night and day.

Well saying all that I am pretty sure to say that I am in the 13's now easily and man what a way to wake up my car. I was in shock after I stopped and was just thinking "holy ****, that was fast". I am no longer going to drive like how i previously would sometimes let er rip on the street, the power is just excessive and I am really scared of my car now. I will be a granny on the street unless some ***** temps me. I just had to let you all know how well it went for me and I will have to post some 1/4 miles times when ever I can drive out to the nearest track 2 hours away.

...and a nice heads / cam package. It keeps getting scary, and that's the best part .

 

haha, thats how i felt the first time i opened it up after my cam install. it scared the crap out of me. I couldn't believe how much faster it was. I felt the same way though after the gears, and after the convertor. congrats on the new setup.

i spin all the way thru 1st and 2nd so i dont have the opportunity to chirp a gear

awww...vig2800 owns..i used to have a vig3200 in mine before i swaped to a M6. TC is the best mod for a A4 car. Dont let the no grip fool you...after i put the vig3200 in mine i could have sworn my car was runnig a lot faster. Went to the track and actually only ran a .1 quicker (no tracion) but my trap speed droped by 1-2mph due to the TC.


For me the Cc306 cam was the biggest difference. When i first opened it up few min after the install, if felt like i was sprayin a 75+ dry shot of n2o. It was amazing. Put a big *** grin on my face
