whenever I lock my car using the keyless entry remote, 5 seconds later the alarm goes off and starts beeping. I made sure all the doors are closed, rear hatch is closed, hood is shut. any suggestions?

 

Mine was doing the same thing. When the door was open it didn't go off, but as soon as it closed it started to go off. My battery connections were loose and causing it to go off, so check that out and make sure the terminals are tight.

I had the same problem after I got a heavy downfall of rain. Just wouldn't shut up. But then it fixed itself... never did figure out what did that

this is really pissing me off......I just went outside to check everything again and it's still doing it

 

Leave the drivers side door open and press the little "button" on the inside of the door panel and set the alarm...see if it goes off. A fuse could be shorting or a wire may be cut and causing a delayed short. I don't know...I was just glad it was the battery for me.

 

Ok my car is on drugs......I went outside, opened the door, sat inside with the door opened, locked it with the keyless entry, unlocked it with the keyless entry, then closed the door, locked it with the door switch, unlocked it with the keyless entry, then locked it with the keyless entry and it stopped beeping.......lol
