Are you using it with USB2RS232 adapter? Did you tried with disabled CCM HANDSHAKE?

Its not the usb adapter, and disabling that ccm handshake didnt do anything. Maybe its a configuration thing in the laptop. I'll have to try another laptop and see.

When logging in Freescan the connection "hangs" fairly often. Not sure why, I have an AKM cable, but i think its related to the software, not the cable. tuner cat works great
