Airfoil blocking IAC, car will not idle-what to do?

With just bolt ons the car was doing great, I had no idle problems at all. After heads and cam, the car didn't idle well. It would idle at about 600 or less RPM, and die with the A/C on. I got curious yesterday so I pulled the airfoil off and suddenly the idle came up to what I specified for the tune, and it runs fine at idle with the A/C on. Is there any way I modify the airfoil to work? I'd like to keep it because I don't think I need a 52mm throttle body, and also I don't have the money for one anyway

You can use a dremel to open up the port on the back side of the air foil.
