Air size For pacesetter lt?

Hello,

So I am buying pacesetter lts. I have been researching and gm changed the air fitting halfway threw on the 95s ( from what I have read). I am trying to figure out if I have the early or late style air since pacesetter says theirs is made for early 95. I don't know if the 12 pin or ob2 style port would help distinguish early/late style

Car was made in April 95 camaro z28

Some info I found in a ls1lt1 thread
"94 and '95 used plugs M22 X 1.5 (22mm thread 1.5 inch long) , later year LT1 went to M18 X 1.5 ."
Thanks

You can't tell anything from the OBD connector as all '95's had the OBD2 connector even though they were OBD1.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

Re: Air size For pacesetter lt?

I think the main point of confusion is the fact that in 95 model year the single cat cars (all 49-state cars and the CA emissions M6 cars) used the 94 single cat exhaust manifolds (22mm female threads) but the dual-cat 95's (CA emissions A4 cars) got the same dual-cat manifolds used on the 96 cars. The dual cat manifolds have smaller (16mm???) female threads.

Could be wrong but I think that is the only difference.

Check the thread diameter of the connections on your exhaust manofilds.

Thanks that answered my question!

What I meant by the ports was I thought I had read they switched between the two styles that year.
