AIR pump removal - relay needed?

Hi, my friend has a 1997 TA, and the previous owner removed the AIR pump. Should he remove the AIR pump relay?

yes remove all hoses that go to the air pump also and you also have to take off the check valves that sit on top of each header and replace it with a 22mm oil drain plug i think, and just plug up the last vacum hose that connects to the intake on the side, and then plug up your vacum line on your cai if you have one...i pluged mine up with a cork!!! lol...lemme know for n e mroe qeustions!!
