air pump delete
remove the air pump, plug the holes on the exhaust manifolds or headers if you have them. 94-95's have 22mm plugs 96-97 have diff size plugs that i don't know about. Thats pretty much it. If you want to you can cut and remove the metal air tube that is bent like a U and goes under the front side of the motor and comes up by the spark plugs. I believe if you do that though there is no easy way to put AIR back on the car for emission purposes. It does make getting the plug by the alternator a little easier to get to with the air tube out of the way.

Yeah, just getting it programmed out isnt a popular choice, because it does not hurt you in the least, so leaving it in, but programming it out, accomplishes nothing at all. Removing it on the other hand, makes the bay look cleaner, less cluttered, and removes a few pounds, thats about the only reason its done.
