if you take off the air pump on a 95 lt-1 does it make the engine run any diferrent or set off a code?

As far as I know, as long as the fuse for the air pump (in the fuse box under the hood) is not blown, there should be no code set. As far as running different, it shouldn't, depends what you mean by 'take off the air pump' you'll have to plug up some stuff if you take 'everything' off.
