Air Intake

Hey has anyone just put a K&N on the end of their throttle body to work as a air intake? This is just for a few miles till I get the new intake setup. Let me know, I need something by friday and trying to think of something that will work.

Re: Air Intake

you'd still need your mass air in place and hooked up...

I suppose if you could rig something up it'd work.. but don't go far!

Re: Air Intake

It will work fine, but you'll be pulling in hot air from behind the radiator. I run speed-density, no MAF and, in effect, my ram air box is connected directly to the TB with a 3" Fernco connector.

That said, how will you be able to attach anything directly to the throttle body if you're running a blower?
