Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge

Ok, I just installed a Tranny Temp gauge and now I want to install a air/fuel ratio gauge in my dual gauge pod.

The red wire i connect to a fused and switched 12V positive source that is turned on and off with the ignition switch

The black wire I connect to an engine ground

The White wire i connect to dash lighting

The violet wire Im having trouble with - the directions say to "Connect to O2 sensor signal wire. Connect to vehicle wiring harness, not oxygen sensor since some oxygen sensors use sheilded wire."

Can anyone explain that better for me? Where is the O2 sensor?
Does anyon have a picture of it?

Thanks!

what year is your car? on my 95 I have only 2 O2's
On the passenger side , look down at the O2 grab the wire harness and follow it back. The purple wire is the wire you want tap into.
