Air/Fuel Gauge question!

I would like to install an air/fuel mixture gauge in my TA, but I was wondering how do I hook it up to get readings from both banks? Do I put in two gauges or wire in a switch to toggle back and forth between the two banks? What have you guys done?
I also want to put in a fuel pressure gauge as well!

Re: Air/Fuel Gauge question!

I would save my money. These blinky air fuel ratio guages are pretty worthless.

Don't waste your time, with an injection system like ours you will constantly see it switching from rich to lean, the pcm will keep it at 14.7 whenever it is in closed loop and when cold or at WOT it will indicate rich but will not be able too give you an accurate number, you need a wideband for that.

...hummm, waste of money! What about a fuel pressure gauge? Or are these just 'gimmicks'?

Re: Air/Fuel Gauge question!

Fuel pressure guage will help you determine if you have aproblem. I usually don't even install them on customer cars since the fuel pressure is set by the ECM.

Just curious.... how does the ECM set the fuel pressure?

While fuel pressure may be a factor in determining the injector flow constant you put in the program, there is no direct feedback to the ECM of the fuel pressure, and no way for the ECM to affect fuel pressure.
