Air Bag light is on all the time.

Ever since I did my rebuild, my air bag light is always illuminated. It drives me nuts. I had pretty much everything apart but im pretty sure i plugged everthing back in. What are some possiblities that could be causing this? Thanks.

Check the 2 connections inside of the cab. One is behind the glove compartment door and one is under the steering wheel. They are both yellow connections.

This was the problem with mine, and it happened when i was transporting my car. Must of just came loose.

Good luck

Yeah, an open connection is often the problem.

How do you get to these 2 sensors? do you have to remove the glove box? and do you have to remove anything ffrom the steering column to view the connections?
thanks

Re: Air Bag light is on all the time.

If you disconnected the steering shaft during the rebuild and moved the steering wheel, you could have broken the SIR coil which would cause the light.
