Air bag light on after engine install

Air bag light on after engine install

Just noticed that my air bag light is on after dropping the k member out.Any ideas? Im going to check the wires out today and make sure nothing is pinched or cut but other wise clueless.

while your at it get it scanned so the code can lead you in the right direction - i think autozone will do it for free

I scanned it at work just now and it doesnt pull any codes?Also i didnt see anything wrong with the wires or sensor.

Did you turn the sterring wheel when you removed the k-member? if you did you broke the clock spring for the air bag. You can get one used, easy to replace

Actually yes I did and I even heard something break but thought nothing of it.Guess I'll be stoping by the salvage yard.Thanks for your help.
