Its a lot easier to cut a good 60ft with a stalled auto car. With an M6 it takes more skill and you also have to worry about breaking the 10 bolt.

I live in NJ so elevation isn't really a big factor

Its been said before, but a good H/C set up is a good start, but running the number requires a well thought out combination starting from the back of the car and working to the front...Most drag races are won or lost in the first 60'...Good luck in your quest and have fun...

just a footnote:

just finished ordering all my parts for a le2 build and the grand tally is 4695.00(and i am sure it will be more by the time i get it together)

that is going from stock with a magnaflow cat back to full bolt on h/c

LE or AI setups should go 11's easily if you have all the bolt ons and can get decent traction.
