Question AI 190cc Head Package?

So, does the 190cc head package come with just about everything I need to put my hp figures in the high 300's or low 400's? In addition to that, I will most likely need things like 30 or 36 lb/hr injectors and 58mm throttlebody. I will also be getting it dynotuned when I have all this installed. So what else is recommended? Electric water pump, valve covers? Thanks.

I would ask AI, they'll set you up in the right track to those HP numbers your looking for. Every application is different you might not need all that stuff although It would probably be recommended..For AI 400's is very common..I don't see why you won't have those #'s.

Thanks. I just want to make sure I do this right to get the maximum power gains from this setup.

If you want the maximum power gains, go with the 200cc heads. They are definitely worth the additional cost.

The thing is my T/A is a daily driver/weekend warrior. So I want to keep it streetable. Don't know if the 200cc is good for that. Did you run those on your ride?

The 200s are fine for a daily driver.

There is a LOT more to a heads and cam swap than just the heads and cam. By the time you buy all the other gaskets, fasteners, rockers and so on you should expect to have another $1000 in easily. Then the car needs a lot of extra work too.

The cam dictates drivability far more than the level of portwork on the heads, so don't worry about that.

I run them on my 383 and would not hesitate to drive it everyday if I had to.

Fascinating. I hadn't thought of that. Thank you. When I do go for it, I will get the 200cc heads. I will most likely be doing it in the spring. And I will also be getting a dynotuned after having it installed.

I have their 200cc heads but run a baby cam. Car could easily be driven every day.

They are great guys to work with.
