Ahhh! NO OIL PRESSURE.

I got NO oil press when I came to a stop light and then it did not come back up.

What can I check?

I have like 250 miles left on my warranty, but want to ensure there is nothing that they will blame on me!

Drop your oil pan, and get your oil pickup tube welded to your oil pump. Take one look at my sig, mainly the blown-up part if you want to know why

The pickup tubes are only pressed in. They're known to get pushed out on a hard shift, etc. When they get pushed out, your oil pump will starve for oil (IE: it wont get any and you'll lose pressure, which will DESTROY your motor/bearings)because all of the oil in your pan moves to the front when your braking. With the pickup/tube in place, this isnt an issue. Any muffler shop should be able to tack it back into place for you for $10 if you bring them the pump, but if you're under warranty, make the dealer do it because it's a PITA to get the oil pan off. But under NO conditions should you be driving it. If you absolutely have to, add two quarts of oil so you're at around seven quarts and drive it straight there.

If you have a warranty, have it looked at. What have you got to lose?

I am just worried that since it is sooo close to expiring, they will say that the oil looks too old or blame me for something.

I would also like to find out what the possible causes might be for reference.

Thanks

It just happens, like I said. Coincidence, a hard shift, a burp in the RPMS, high RPMS, dumb luck. Bad design.
