I think my Auburn diferential is taking a crap. It handled funny tonight leaving a tight right turn, so i went to a parking lot under a light, stuck my head out the door and powerbraked it.. to see the rear driverside wheel try to spin, but couldn't.

How much is it to replace it with a better unit? I'm not sure exactly which one I have now because it came with gears and diferential when i bought it, all i know is that its an Auburn. Any recomendations? And, places to order from?

It was going to the shop for new power window motors anyway, guess i'll have them take care of this while they're at it.

 

If you are in socal you can go to Hoopers rear end exchange in sun valley, they are very reputable for there work, jsut got mine back with 4.10's, as for right now, couldn't be happier.

 

I got the shop for it, very close and i know the guys... they were there for me when i didn't know anything about my car and the opti failed... They do alot of work and have been doing my work for me for very cheap since then. (IE 9 hour header installation because the manifolds were messed up for only $300) Also everything they have done they have backed up 100%, so i trust the guys very much. When they put the headers on one of the plug wires fell out of the brace and got burnt... and it wasn't an easy one. All i paid was for a wire, they did the 1 hour labor for free.

I'll be talking to them shortly so i'll keep you guys up to date.
